This is exactly what evaluation ought to be: real, useful and meaningful. Inquiry necessitates that you get information from the people who are being affected, that you find out what’s working and what’s not, and that you seriously reflect on what you are trying to accomplish. This forces you to change.
— Amy Reisch, Executive Director, Marin Children and Families Commission (First 5 Marin).

Assessment and Evaluation

Assessment and evaluation are central to our work. Assessments and evaluation can be focused on a variety of levels including: programmatic, departmental, initiative, or community-wide. We work with clients to design evaluation tools, collect data, and product reports that speak to their impact.

We approach our assessment and evaluation work in a way that builds the internal capacity of organizations in these areas.

See our Evaluation 101 presentation.
