As this place reveals how fragile were the threads that weaved a perceived commitment to our shared humanity, I keep asking myself what now might be possible?
What connections and conversations might take us not to a reconstitution of the past but to a new future?
I don’t have answers but I have curiosities about how different language and framing might be a component.
Words matter.
They convey assumptions and beliefs that shape dialogue. The reflect our values.
